The Hotel & Kurhaus in Arolla welcomes you at an altitude of 2100 m. Situated in the heart of a beautiful pine forest, the Hotel was built in 1896 and renovated in 1979. Present since the beginning of Alpine tourism. The Hotel & Kurhaus is member of Swiss Historic Hotels.

 

The large terrace is an ideal place to relax and enjoy a meal in the sun. The view of the surrounding peaks (Pigne d'Arolla, Mont Collon, Aiguille de la Tza, Dents de Veisivis) is wonderful. Access to the hotel is via a private road, and there is no disturbing traffic. 
Trails allow you to move around in the surrounding forest, enjoying the ever-changing landscape. A small lake, hundred-year-old pine trees, a multitude of flowers (rhododendrons, gentians, anemones,...) will delight nature lovers. The hotel is situated at the starting point of a large number of walks, excursions, hikes and access to the huts. It is on the way to the Haute Route and one of the departures of the famous Glacier Patrol. In winter, access to the slopes and lifts can be done on skis, by putting on and taking off shoes in front of the hotel.
The restaurant, L'Honorine, offers both traditional and original dishes to satisfy you.
The hotel has a spacious reception room where you can organise congresses, seminars, conferences, weddings or birthdays in idyllic surroundings. Free internet access is available to guests. The hotel also offers massages in collaboration with the Jardin des Soins, as well as yoga classes and various activities in the area.
